• Remove old caulk. Silicone remaining on surface will decrease adhesion.

• Clean thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, oil, wax, lose paint, dust and soap film.

• Remove mildew with bleach and detergent that does not contain ammonia. Rinse surface and allow to dry.

• Cut tip on a slant to desired bead size.

• Insert cartridge in caulk gun.

• Apply steady pressure forcing caulk onto surface for a smooth bead.

• Smooth bead with wet finger or putty knife to desired appearance. Wipe off excess with damp cloth.

• Paintable in 2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

• Allow 24 hours before exposing to water.

• Periodically clean cured caulk with non-abrasive cleanser for best appearance.
