Polyseamseal® 100% Silicone Sealant
Polyseamseal 100% Silicone Sealant is a one-part RTV silicone. The silicone rubber can withstand the damaging effects of the weather making it perfect for all types of applications inside and out. 100% silicone is formulated to withstand temperatures between -65°F (-54°C) to 450°F (232°C) and remains flexible.
Glass, porcelain, clean metal, ceramic tile and some plastics
Clean tools and sealant residue immediately with mineral spirits. Cured sealant may be carefully cut away with a sharp-edged tool.

Remove old Caulk. If removing silicone, clean with an abrasive cleanser thoroughly and rinse clean. Silicone residue left on the surface will decrease adhesion.
Clean thoroughly to remove dirt, oil, wax, and loose paint. Remove mildew with bleach and detergent that does not contain ammonia. Rinse surface and allow too dry.
PAINT surface before caulking. Check paint adhesion to surface before use. CANNOT paint over silicone.
MASK both sides of the joint for a straight edge.
CUT tip on a slant to desired bead size. Puncture inner seal.
With caulk gun, apply steady trigger pressure forcing sealant onto the surface for a smooth bead.
Smooth bead with plastic spoon or other tool immediately. Remove tape immediately and wipe off excess with dry cloth, followed by detergent and water.
Tack free in 15 minutes. Allow 24 hours for full cure before exposure to water.
Optimum strength is achieved in 7 days.
